All PTS schools receive America’s Healthiest Schools award

National children’s health organization Alliance for a Healthier Generation unveiled its 2026 list of America’s Healthiest Schools, celebrating over 1,300 K-12 schools nationwide for their commitment to advancing whole child health, including each school within Portage Township Schools. PTS was awarded in the Improving Nutrition & Food Access category.

Dear Central Families!

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all our students and families at Central Elementary School.  
 
Central Elementary is dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where students can achieve their full potential. The upcoming school year holds promises of new experiences, friendships, and growth opportunities, both academically and personally. Our faculty and staff diligently prepare to ensure that we provide a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to learning. Whether your child is returning for another year or joining us for the first time, we are committed to making this journey enriching, rewarding, and fun for everyone.  Open communication between home and school is not just important, it's essential for our students' success. We encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have throughout the year. Together, we can create a positive and impactful educational experience for every child.
